The Humanify.pro AI Humanizer uses Google Gemini to rewrite text. Because the request goes directly from your browser to Google, you need to add your own Gemini API key before the tool can work.
A Gemini API key is a private code that connects the tool to your Google AI Studio project. Google provides a free tier for certain models, but free limits and model availability can change.
Step 1: Open Google AI Studio
Go to the API Keys page
Open Google AI Studio API Keys and sign in with your Google account.
For many new users, Google AI Studio automatically creates a project and key. When no key is shown, use the Create API key button.
Step 2: Create and copy the key
Click Create API key
Select an available project if Google asks, create the key, and click the copy icon. Copy the complete key without adding spaces.
Do not publish an API key in a blog post, screenshot, public code repository or social-media message. If a key is exposed, delete or revoke it in Google AI Studio and create a replacement.
Step 3: Add the key to the AI Humanizer
Paste and save
Return to the AI Humanizer, paste the key into the field at the top, and click Save key & continue.
The tool saves the key in that browser until you remove it. You can then paste your text, choose the content type and tone, and click Humanize text.
Your key is ready? Add it once and start rewriting your text.
Open AI HumanizerUse your Gemini API key safely
- Use the AI Humanizer on a device and browser you trust.
- Do not paste the key into unknown websites.
- Remove the saved key when using a shared computer.
- Check your usage and quota in Google AI Studio.
- Create a new key when Google blocks or revokes an old one.
On Humanify.pro, the key is stored in your browser. When you submit text, your browser sends the key and text directly to Google Gemini. The tool does not need to upload the text to a Humanify.pro processing server.
Common problems
Google AI Studio shows no key
Click Create API key. Google may ask you to create or select a project first.
The AI Humanizer says the key was rejected
Copy the complete key again, make sure there are no spaces, and save it. When the key remains invalid, create a new one in AI Studio.
You reached a quota or rate limit
Wait and try again later, or open the Usage section in Google AI Studio. Free-tier quotas depend on the model and may change.
You are using a shared computer
Use the Remove key option on the AI Humanizer before leaving the device.
